Inspired by the vintage bedroom in this collage:
Before I get into showcasing some new designer bridal gowns for Spring 2012, I had to indulge you in seeing this fabulously sexy and breathtaking bridal gown.
This showstopping dress was worn by Aussie model Rebecca Twigley at her New Year’s Eve wedding to AFL football player Chris Judd in Melbourne, Australia… kind of looks like Vera Wang meets P’nina Tornai?

According to the Wedding Style Guide,
Rebecca chose close friends Jacob Luppino and Anthony Pittorino of J’Aton Couture to create her exquisite art deco-inspired gown as well as her bridesmaids and her mothers gowns. Weighing a whopping 30kg the gown featured lace and intricate beading all over the bodice and took 300 hours to make.
Clearly one talented and fashion forward design house…
J’Aton also dressed Rebecca’s bridesmaids in flowing pewter gowns of different styles to compliment each one of their figures.
I am enamored by these amazing, sultry bridesmaid dresses… however, I wish there was one extra layer of fabric on the bottom!
What do you think of the Aussie bombshell’s wedding style?
Many people say, “You can tell a lot about a person by his or her bedroom.”
The same goes for couples and their wedding style.
For this reason, when modern day couple’s (who are engaged and living together) plan out their big day, I suggest they take cues from the bedroom. I love creating inspiration boards inspired by home decorating images!

Admittedly, I have been having a major love affair with letterpress invitations these days. With so many fabulous lines on the market, I’m sort of a “stationery polygamist.”
However, there is one line, appropriately named Spark, that continues to win over my heart time and time again.
Spark invitations are the total package of perfection. Every design is cleverly constructed with brilliant textures and impeccable details that are impossible not to covet.
The hard working, family owned business of letterpress experts take pride in every custom, handmade product they create. In their own words:
We live vicariously through each giddy couple that comes our way. We search relentlessly for beautiful paper to enhance our work. We’re dreamers with pricing rooted in reality.
Although the company and it’s talented founders are based in South Dakota, their special spark has spread to admirers across the the globe.
Discover spark at a retailer near you and you’ll be swooning in no time…
The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein was my favorite book as a kid, hands down!
I came across this free, save the date idea from merriment design and it took me back to my sweet childhood.
This creative inspiration, comes with free templates and instructions. It’s the ideal combination: maximum emotional impact and minimal costs!
Thanks to Chicago couple, Adam and Cristin, for sharing!
